John started at Secured Funding as a Loan Officer and was top agent on the team in the 6th month there. As the 2nd mortgage industry slowed due to shrinking equity and high default rates, John moved on to Solstice Capital which was then acquired by HSBC Corp. He was promoted to Sales Manager and had his own team with a track record as one of the highest performing teams at HSBC. When the mortgage industry started failing, he decided to move on.

John was licensed as a CA Real Estate Agent in 2006 decided to utilize his real estate license and then got his CA Broker's License in July of 2008. Working on many short sales and foreclosures as this was the trend of the time. He specialized in short sales and negotiating short sale packages for other brokers direct with lenders or asset managers. During this time John really got to understand the true art of Real Estate negotiating. Negotiating is not always about what you want instead it's really about where the other party is willing to meet you.

John is also a marketing specialist and also owns a successful direct marketing company.  John is utilizing his skill, knowledge, and marketing expertise to provide Equinox's buyers and sellers the exposure they deserve. As the Broker and President of Equinox Real Estate, John and his team are using unconventional marketing and sales methods in the traditional Real Estate space.
